The first painting in my upcoming series, What Makes Us Bloom?

This painting depicts an orange flame marigold enjoying life in a Pucko chocolate milk bottle.

When browsing the market for this motif, the flower immediately jumped out at me—it had to be. The oranges and browns complement each other as if the marigold has bloomed from the chocolate "earth" at the bottom of the bottle.

Bubbles, droplets, and glass—my favourite kind of details. I can't wait to see where this series takes me.
