Kanelbulle (2024)

Kanelbulle (2024) is a small nod to one of the simplest comforts I know — homemade cinnamon buns fresh from the oven. It reminds me of the kind made by my mormor, when the smell of cinnamon and cardamom would slowly fill the kitchen long before they were ready to eat.

I like how something so ordinary can carry that much warmth and nostalgia. Painted in careful detail, the bun becomes less about the food itself and more about those quiet, familiar moments that feel like home.
